Why I am a property consultant at Harcourts Capital is a very easy question to answer. This company is unique in its values and integrity which is mirrored in the fact that agents only leave the fold of our "family "when there is no other way out. Originally working as a marketer/canvasser, I did not choose this company to work for on the 15th of October 2001, but it was destined to be and after all these years, I am not a bit sorry. Our principal, Irene Prinsloo, recruited me to become an agent, mentored and trained me, reprimanded, and praised me and in the end, became a friend. Thank you. I started as a newcomer and since sold just onto 170million rands worth of property, received 1 Platinum, 8 Gold, 1 silver and 14 bronze awards, as well as quite a few other accolades. None if this would have been possible if I did not have the moral and personal support from the whole Harcourts team at the office as well as from our head office where our CEO, Richard Gray and the team at Head Office played their part, not only for me, but for every other agent who holds the Harcourts banner, nationally and internationally, proudly aloft.
Joining the Harcourts family was the best thing I did, not only for my own well-being but also for those around me, and for that I will be forever grateful.
