MY JOURNEY WITH HARCOURTS CAPITAL

Category stories-from-our-team

For eight years, I was successful as a small real estate company.  The downside is that you are the alfa and omega of everything, as the smallest to the biggest decision had to be made by me.  It is a very lonely world, working on your own.  During this time, Irene Prinsloo, principal, and co-director of Harcourts Capital, and I met up and discussed the possibility of me joining the Harcourts Capital team.  This went on for five years!

On August 1, 2011, I joined the Capital team.  For a few weeks I was out of my depth. So many things were happening, and I had to let go of being a control freak and embrace what was offered to me, to be the best property professional that I can be.  My only regret is that I did not join Harcourt Capital earlier!

For the past twelve years, I have the privilege of working at a company with integrity, vision and compassion for their clients and agents alike.  The management is always well informed of the latest changes regarding new legislation, the requirements of the PPRA, and all efforts are being made to keep us as informed and qualified as possible.  This gives me as a property professional confidence to address my clients' needs, to guide and assist them with their property requirements.  Backed by an outstanding and professional administration team, I can do what I love most, being amongst people.  The support that I know will always be there for me, allows me to fly higher and higher, to achieve more, not just financially but most of all professionally.
